There was a motion made by Wendell Pollard, and seconded by Will Blackford, that the Committee make up a Resolution endorsing Ryant Washington.  It was noted that there would first need to be a suspension of the by-laws according to Robert’s Rules.  Our by-laws state that the Committee cannot endorse any candidate that is not running as a Republican.  A vote was taken to see if it was the Committee’s desire to suspend the rules.  The vote was 5 for suspension, 14 opposed.  The motion died.

A second motion was made by Wendell Pollard, seconded by Doug Johnson, asking that a Resolution of support be made up for Ryant Washington.  A motion to table was made by Luther White and seconded by Larry Hutner.  The motion to table passed.
